Here we go again! We are finally up for the last and decisive challenge of 2015: after the quick European stop in Luxembourg, our Sara Errani goes back to China for the WTA Elite Trophy.
Away from the lethal smog of Beijing as it was just a few weeks ago during the China Open, the secluded paradise of Zhuhai will host the second best 12 players of the year – that is those who finished 2015 from the 9th to the 19th position of the Race with the addition of a wild card: Venus Williams (11), Carla Suarez Navarro (12), Karolina Pliskova (13), Roberta Vinci (15), Caroline Wozniacki (17), our Sara Errani (18), Madison Keys (19), Elina Svitolina (20), Jelena Jankovic (21), Andrea Petkovic (23), Svetlana Kuznetsova (26) and Saisai Zheng (WC).

Our warrior earned her 1st career qualification for the “Masters B” thanks to her 8th singles title at the Rio Open in Brasil and of course thanks to the amazing results reached in Monterrey (SF), Roland Garros (QF), Bucarest (F), Bad Gastein (SF), Toronto (SF) and last but not least Guangzhou (SF).
The draw ceremony just took place and officially announced the 4 Groups composed of 3 players each to fight for a spot into semifinals: our Sarita will play in Group C along with the n.13 Czech Karolina Pliskova and the n.21 Serbian Jelena Jankovic. Previous match records are both in favour of the Roland Garros finalist, as Sara leads 1-0 v. Pliskova (Sydney 2013) and 3-1 v. Jankovic (WTA Championships 2013, Internazionali BNL d’Italia, Roland Garros).

The Order of Play is officially out as well, as our Sarita will step on court tomorrow for her first match on Tuesday against Jelena Jankovic.
