Sara scored two comfortable wins in Linz today. In singles, she beat Arantxa Parra Santonja 6-2 6-3. She started really well, broke Parra Santonja in her first two service games, and never let that lead slip away.

In the second round, Sara will play against Tatjana Malek. Sara won their only previous meeting, in Acapulco in 2008, in two sets.

In doubles, Sara and Ioana Raluca Olaru beat Melanie Klaffner and Carnen Klaschka 6-1 6-3. In the second round, they will play against Jans/Rosolska, who Sara beat with Pennetta in Beijing last week.
