Sara has reached the second round in both singles and doubles in Linz. In singles, she beat Sesil Karatancheva 6-2 6-2. Karatancheva didn’t manage to hold serve once during the match (that does mean Sara lost serve 4 times as well), and as a result it was a relatively easy win for Sara. In the second round, she will face another qualifier: Renata Voracova from the Czech Republic. They met twice before, in 2005 and 2007, and Sara won both meetings.

In the doubles tournament, Sara and Roberta Vinci scored an easy 6-3 6-1 win over the Bondarenko sisters. In the second round they will play against Sorana Cirstea and Andreja Klepac.
