Unfortunately just like last year, Sara lost in the first round of Wimbledon. The match was closer than the match against Puig last year, and Sara even had a matchpoint, but after the match got suspended at 1 set all, Carolina Garcia prevailed the next day in the 3rd set.

However, Sara and Roberta started the doubles tournament well with a 6-2, 6-2 over Jelena Jankovic and Alisa Kleybanova. In the 2nd round they’ll play against Lyudmyla and Nadiia Kichenok.
