Check out our Sara Errani rocking the NYC skyline during her practice on the Arthur Ashe Stadium for the US Open 2016!
Let’s put aside New Haven’s disappointment. That time of the year has finally come: the Big Apple is ready to host the whole Tour and our Sara Errani for the 2016 edition of the US Open!
For the past few days our Sara Errani finally got the chance to catch her breath and find the right time to fully adapt to Flushing Meadows’ surface. The monumental venue located in Queens borough, NYC is ready to welcome players and fans under its brand new retractable roof – hopefully the Arthur Ashe Stadium won’t need its help.
But let’s get back to business, as our warrior will compete both in Singles and Doubles and is eager to make her debut: the draw just took place and stated that her first opponent will be Shelby Rogers, attualmente n.55 della classifica WTA. The only match previously played went in favour of the young American (Bad Gastein, 2014).

As for the doubles competition, Sarita will be joined by her fellow italian and legend Francesca Schiavone, since her partner Carla Suarez Navarro chose to partecipate due to her issues experienced last week in New Haven. The Italian duo will face the team composed by Kudryatseva and Lisicki.
