For the first time in their career, Sara and Roberta made it to the semifinal at Wimbledon!

The second round was a very tough match, played over two days, where they saved 6(!) matchpoints before beating the Kichenok twins 6-7, 7-6, 6-1. The third round was somewhat easier: a 7-5, 6-3 win against Aoyama/Voracova. And today, our Cichis won their quarterfinal against the strong Australian team of Ashleigh Barty and Casey Dellacqua: 6-4, 3-6, 6-0.

Their semifinal opponents will be either Andrea Hlavackova and Jie Zheng or Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Lucie Safarova.
