Sara hasn’t been able to win her first match on grass of the season. Just like in their first meeting on grass, Kateryna Bondarenko won in three sets: 7-5, 3-6, 4-6. The match was dominated by servicebreaks, Sara was clearly struggling to adapt her game to grass after the long clayseason. However, she’s still getting some matchplay on grass before Wimbledon: she and Roberta Vinci are in the semifinal in doubles. They won their first two rounds comfortably; 6-1, 6-2 over Daniilidou/Fujiwara and 6-2, 6-4 over Klepac/Rodionova. In the semifinal they will play against Cibulkova/Zahlavova Strycova.
