The Olympics are over for Sara as she and Roberta lost against the Williams sisters in the quarterfinal: 1-6, 1-6. The power of Serena and Venus’ shots was just too much for the Italian team and they never really got into the match. The disappointment was big after the match, and Sara left the court in tears, but in the end they played a good tournament, and just got unlucky by the draw and the Olympic draw rules.

Sara’s next tournament will be the Rogers Cup in Montreal, next week.
