Sara is in the quarterfinal in Sydney, after beating Karolina Pliskova and Maria Kirilenko. On monday she beat Pliskova 6-1, 6-3, and on tuesday she beat Maria Kirilenko 6-1, 6-1. Especially the second round was a very good match. In the first set, Sara didn’t miss a single first serve! It’s the first time since 2001 that has happened on the WTA Tour.

In the quarterfinal Sara will play against Dominika Cibulkova. Cibulkova leads the head to head 4-3, but Sara won the last meeting, in Barcelona last year.
