Sara played a good match in the quarterfinal in Doha, but she lost against world #1 Victoria Azarenka, 2-6, 2-6. However, Sara and Roberta made the semifinal in doubles, after a hardfought win against Hantuchova/Medina Garrigues 6-3, 4-6, 13-11.
In the semifinal they will play against Groenefeld/Peschke.
