Our Sara Errani is ready to start off her grass season @ the Aegon International in Eastbourne

Back to regular duties! Right after let the fans know about the most awaited reunion ever with her former Doubles partner Roberta Vinci for the 2016 edition of the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, our Sara Errani resumes her Tour schedule.

We are currently in the Queen’s land, England, for the Aegon International in Eastbourne, West Sussex – home of the second and last Premier event before the eldest of the Grand Slam Tournaments: Wimbledon.

Sarita owns a R1 BYE as n.13 seeded player of the main draw and awaits the winner of the clash between the German Andrea Petkoviccurrently n.34 in World rankings – and the Lucky Loser Saisai Zheng (ndr. WTA’s n.80). Our warrior is ahead in match records against both players (ndr. 3-2; 3-0) but none of them has been played on grass thus far.

Our Sara Errani will also take part into the Doubles competition and side again with Oksana Kalashnikova, with whom she gained Indian Wells’ Semifinals not too long ago. The girls drew the n.2 team of the draw – the Chan/Chan sisters – and originally had to get to the court to face them today at 8pm on Centre Court but the poor weather conditions forced the organization to cancel the match and revise tomorrow’s schedule.
