Sara and Roberta reached the semifinal in doubles today at Roland Garros. For the third tournament in a row, they faced the Russian team of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina. Sara and Roberta won the previous two meetings (in the finals of Madrid and Rome), and they also won today, but it was a very hard-fought match: 6-4, 5-7, 6-4. The match lasted almost 3 hours, which is of course not perfect the day before the singles quarterfinal, but the important thing is that they won in the end! In the semifinal they play against the reunited Spanish team Llagostera Vives/Martinez Sanchez.
Tomorrow at 2pm on court Suzanne Lenglen, Sara will play her singles quarterfinal against Angelique Kerber.
