Unfortunately our Sara Errani didn’t come up with a Olympic medal, but she’s ready to get back on Tour @ the Western&Southern Open in Cincinnati, Ohio

Obrigado Rio! Unfortunately the Olympics ended up before we all expected and hoped for our Sara Errani, but now it is time to go back on Tour and fly to the United States.

Our Cichi’s did the best they could in order to bring home an Olympic medal for the Italia Team but finally came short against the smoking hot team of the tournament, the Czech duo Lucie – Safarova and Barbora Strycova.

We are live from Cincinnati, Ohio. The “Queen of the West” hosts the WTA Premier Western & Southern Open, as usual since 1899: our Sarita will compete in both Singles and Doubles and will debut against the home-wish Coco Vandeweghecurrent n.33 in world rankings. The one and only match already played between these two is dated back in Wimbledon 2012, when our warrior defeated the American in straight sets (6-1, 6-3).

Also, the Nati will be the stage of another reunion – last time they’ve played together was in Miami earlier this year – the one of our Sara Errani and Carla Suarez Navarro, former Top10 of the race for the 2016 WTA Championships. The girls will face Raluca Olaru and Renata Voracova in R1.
