Sara makes her debute at the Family Circle Cup – Charleston’s (South Carolina) WTA Premier tournament on green clay: n.14 of the world ranking and 4° seed of the main, Sara will be benefit from a bye in the first round. She will play her first match against the Slovakian  Jana Cepelova, WTA’s n. 122, to defend 2014 quarterfinals: only one previous match in the records, favorable to Sarita, won in straight sets at 2012 Montreal’s second round. Honorable mention for the 12-year-old born in Kosice who reached finals here in 2014 – first and only in her whole carrier – defeating Serena Williams herself during her road.

Once again a consistent performance by Sara, who brilliantly avoid a dangerous third set first taking control thanks to a major break within the first set then succeeding in a masterful remontada from a 2-5 under. Lastly, Sara gets a break at 5-6 taking the wind out Cepelova’s sails  and finishes the business at the tie-break: 6-3, 7-6(5).
