La nostra Sara Errani inaugura il suo 2017 a Brisbane
Welcome back to all the fans, friends and supporters! We couldn’t wait for you to join us in this brand new journey we about to start. As tough and difficult 2016 has been, each and every step made has been vital for our Sara Errani to grow and reinvent herself. Now she is finally eager to step back on stage and do what she loves the most.
Following a most needed break after the major work done throghout the last season and probably the most difficult of her career so far, which led her to split from the all-time coach Pablo Lozano, our Sarita moved to Tirrenia’s FIT center to start all over from scratch. Dedication and hard work with the help of an elite trainer: Wim Fissette. The Belgian agreed on a 3-week plan, to share his reknown expertise on court and get Sarita in top shape for her brand new team, lead by coach Michele Montalbini.
So, our Sara Errani starts again from her home land, Romagna, and from the people who first introduced her to her deepest passion. Her first 2017 stop will be in Brisbane, where she will be competing in both singles and doubles of this first season WTA Premier tournament. Following the draw ceremony, our warrior will debut against the American Christina McHale – currently n.45 in world rankings – who she’s already prevailed on in 4 out of 5 previous head to head. The match is scheduled at 12PM local time, Jan 1st, and will be hosted on Show Court 1.
