Sara is in the 4th round in Indian Wells. After a bye in the first round, she beat Lourdes Dominguez Lino in a tough match in the second round: 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, and today she beat Johanna Larsson in the second round: 6-3, 6-1.

In doubles, Sara and Roberta lost their first match after 15 wins in a row. In the second round, Su-Wei Hsieh and Shuai Peng were too strong and beat them 6-2, 6-3.
