With a fairly routine 6-1, 6-1 win over Canadian Sharon Fichman, Sara is in the 3rd round of Indian Wells. Though Sara got broken once in both sets, her win was never in danger as Fichman couldn’t hold serve once.

Unfortunately the doubles tourmament didn’t start as well. Sara and Roberta lost to Svetlana Kuznetsova and Samantha Stosur in the first round.
